The Artist
Who Is RS Lawrence
Resistance Lawrence, known professionally as RS Lawrence, is one of Uganda's most exciting Afro-Pop and Reggae artists — a voice that carries the spirit of East Africa to the world.
Born and raised in Uganda, RS Lawrence grew up immersed in music, faith, and entrepreneurship. His sound fuses the rhythmic pulse of Afro-pop, the conscious depth of reggae, and the spiritual fire of gospel into something entirely his own.
His debut album "Hold My Hand" — a 22-track project — announced him as a serious force in African music. Beyond music, he leads RESLAW Group, Nengo Innovations, Nengo Media, 3Amars Luxury, and Nengo Tours, and hosts My Screen live on NMG LIVE.
